Noah Kahan Tour Poster
Noah Kahan, a folk-pop artist, is known for his witty, goofy personality. However, a lot of his merch is very minimalistic and doesn't showcase that side of his personality. I wanted to create a fun tour poster that would showcase his witty side.
This poster highlights one of his most popular songs, Dial Drunk. The song talks about being young, dumb, in love, and very drunk. While the song has a much deeper meaning, I wanted to put Kahan's goofy personality into it. I chose to recreate the original Fisher Price toy phone as the phone Kahan would "dial drunk" on. I also incorporated a fun, funky typeface. I flipped some letters and rotated other letter in order to highlight the idea of being drunk. I think the poster overall captures Kahan's personality while also keeping it minimalistic and relatable.
I chose to apply the toy car to a white bucket hat as a merch option. I think the bucket hat perfect captures a sense of childlike joy while keeping it minimalistic with just the toy car.
